IGCSE Course

What does an IGCSE course entail?

There are a number of different versions of the IGCSE course taught around the world, but the most common and popular is undoubtedly the Cambridge IGCSE. This primarily refers to when the exams for the course are done, with the Cambridge courses holding exams in February in India and in May and October around the rest of the world. The exams are offered to candidates who have 7 subjects passed with grades between A and C in a number of different groups like Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences, Math and Creative, Technical and Vocational courses. Candidates must pass two languages and have one pass in every other group in order to qualify for what is known as an ICE award in the IGCSE. It is also widely considered to be a much more rigorous and challenging exam than the GCSE, which is an exam given to those in school in the United Kingdom.
